Last fall, Banja Luka recorded a historic planting and our city became richer by nearly two thousand new seedlings, which is more than the total number of planted seedlings in the last three years. More precisely, in 2021, a total of 1,935 seedlings were planted, and almost every part of the city received new seedlings as a donation within the large action called “Donate or plant”, which the City Administration conducted in cooperation with a large number of citizens and socially responsible companies. Compared to previous years, the number of new seedlings in the past year is higher than the total number of seedlings planted in the last three years. Hence, 909 seedlings were planted in 2020, 790 in 2019 and 253 seedlings in 2018.
