Banja Luka is getting a new sports and recreational complex at the location of the former military playground within the Akvana Water Park. Construction works of this largest sports and recreation center are underway. The future complex will consist of a roller rink, catering facilities, a soccer field and a basketball court, a professional jogging track, two types of outdoor gyms (one is a classic outdoor gym, and the other is a multi-purpose military gym), while it will also include a rest area, new stands that can be assembled and dismantled next to the basketball court, and existing concrete stands as well as the children’s playground will be reconstructed.
