During only one week, the City of Banja Luka provided all elementary school students with free textbooks, pensioners with cheaper monthly bus tickets, while the residents of the Borik local community received a new green area called “Kayak Park”.

In the same week, another step was taken towards transparency and greater involvement of citizens in important city issues, because by the decision of the Mayor of Banja Luka, all discussions on regulatory plans will be held after 16:00 hours, so that all interested citizens can attend and participate in the important decision making process.

Also, Banja Luka got the first City Manager Mr. Bojan Kresojević, whose task is to contribute to the development and strengthening of our city in the forthcoming period and to create a more efficient City Administration.

The practice of building playgrounds for our youngest fellow citizens has continued, so the local community of Mišin Han will soon get a playground and an indoor soccer field. At the same time, works are underway to make the famous fountain from the “Petar Kočić” Park return its old splendor to Banja Luka.
