First step towards e-building permit

First step towards e-building permit

On January 3, 2018 a one-stop-shop for issuing e-building permits started with its operation in Banja Luka. All citizens who wish to apply for a building permit can submit the necessary documentation in one office, the Banja Luka City Administration Center for Permits, office no.19 in the city hall.

-On the first working day in 2018, 22 applications were received, of which 1 was a building permit request, and 5 location requirement approvals. Today, we have received two more location requirement approvals for individual residence units, where citizens will make use of the opportunity that the City of Banja Luka, on their behalf, acquire all the necessary approvals as a prerequisite for issuing a buidling permit – Dragana Milanovic, One Stop Shop Head within Department of Spatial Development, said.

She said that many citizens visit the center to obtain information about the new system of issuing a building permit.

– Upon submitting a request for issuing a building permit, the file is reviewed and further steps necessary for issuing the permit are determined. In this process, we inform citizens what approval documents they need, inform them about their price and other relevant documents for issuing approvals, Dragana Milanovic explained.

Earlier, citizens would have to visit at least twelve city administration offices and other institutions for the purpose of having a building permit issued. Now, all the necessary documents are submitted at one office.
