The old fountain, which used to adorn the Petar Kočić Park, now adorns the “Mladen Stojanović” Park, to the satisfaction of many citizens.

The fountain, which used to be the symbol of Banja Luka and where the most beautiful memories were made, has never been spared, and a citizens’ initiative was launched to return one of the most recognizable symbols of our city.

This initiative was accepted and implemented by the mayor Draško Stanivuković, who said that this fountain was much more than a stone.

– It is much more than the water flowing down that stone, it is more than a symbol of the city. This fountain represents numerous memories of the Banja Luka that our fellow citizens really loved – said the mayor.
