The Mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković, was in Paris on 11-13 November 2021, where he participated in the fourth session of the Paris Peace Forum.

On that occasion, he met with the President of France, Emanuel Macron, at the Elysee Palace in Paris.

The Mayor of Banja Luka and the President of France discussed the current situation in the Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European path, as well as the green city concept.

– We have agreed upon cooperation with four cities in France through direct support for technology projects (smart cities), but also for the projects in the field of environment protection (environmentally responsible cities). Banja Luka can count on the French funds for the implementation of projects in these areas. We are proud of everything we have accomplished today, because today, in the heart of France, we talk about the city on the river Vrbas – said the Mayor of Banja Luka.
