After almost three decades, the City of Banja Luka has announced an international general competition for the development of a concept design for the Central City Memorial to the killed and missing soldiers in the Defense Patriotic War of the Republika Srpska.
– The city’s central memorial will be a public symbolic place for the citizens to pay tribute, contemplate and learn about the courage and sacrifice of the killed and missing soldiers, thanks to whom our Republic and the city enjoy their freedom and equality – said Mayor Draško Stanivuković.
He invited everyone who wants to participate in this competition so that Banja Luka gets a timeless monument through the design of the memorial as a tribute to the killed and missing soldiers.
