City Assembly

The city assembly consists of 31 delegates that are elected at local elections to a four-year term.

Chairman and deputy chairman are elected to a period of assembly`s term duration.

Assembly’s secretary is appointed by the City Assembly based on a proposal of the Committee for Selection and Appointments. The proposed candidate has to have a university degree in law and a passed state professional exam or bar exam.
